The 2nd edition of the Food Safety Week was a moment of comparison and updating that involved the different stakeholders with the aim of contributing to the dissemination of the culture of safety and hygiene in food production, to the approach of the different components that operate in the supply chain and to highlight the prevention activities that the Veterinary Services of the ASL carry out for the purposes of consumer guarantee.
The programme, developed in collaboration with local institutions, has included a series of initiatives and conferences on topics of general interest and topicality, aimed both at employees in the sector as internal training and as information to the consumer citizen.
Leading thread of the meetings and slogan of the event is One Health, or Unique Medicine, Environment Food & Health, to signify the close correlation between human health, animal health and the environment, which represents the objective and mission of the Veterinary Services operating in the Prevention Department, as well as the Department itself.
