The Legal Medicine and Clinical Risk Management Unit:
- identifies, evaluates and manages all the risk profiles related to the company’s clinical activities, for the better protection of users and to guarantee the safety of treatments;
- carries out consultancy activities for all company diagnostic and assistance structures and for the Strategic Management;
- manages, to the extent of medical-legal competence, the litigation that engages the Company for damages to the person, in the extra-judicial and judicial phase;
- apply the Regional and Ministerial directives on clinical risk management;
- ensures the functioning of the Claims Assessment Committee and the compensation procedures for subjects damaged by vaccinations and blood transfusions;
- carries out internal audit procedures and participates in corporate training initiatives for Risk Management skills.
