Head of Corruption Prevention and Transparency

Law no. 190 of 6 November 2012 Provisions for the prevention and repression of corruption and illegality in public administration in art. 1 paragraph 5 provides for the preparation of the Three-Year Corruption Prevention Plans (PTPC) in all public administrations referred to in art. 1, paragraph 2 of Legislative Decree no. 165 of 30 March 2001 and, in art. 1 paragraph 7, the appointment of a Head of Corruption Prevention.

In light of the obligations contained in the PTPC and the indications contained in Circular no. 1 of 2013 of the Department of Public Function, the Head of Corruption Prevention has invited all the Executives of the Company Parts to appoint a Contact Person for the PTPC for the area of their competence: 22 employees have been identified, of managerial and non-managerial qualifications, who constitute a multidisciplinary task-force to support the Anti-Corruption structure whose functions have been specified in the National Anti-Corruption Plan and who have actively collaborated in the drafting of the update.

In view of the demanding and delicate task of liaising with all company structures, the additional contribution of two central representatives has been ensured to support the Head of Corruption Prevention, working closely together, especially for the application of the Plan and its continuous updating and integration.

Among the tasks assigned to the Head of Corruption Prevention, the adoption of a Code of Business Conduct is considered, by Law 190 of 6 November 2012, a fundamental prevention measure. The Decree of the President of the Republic no. 62 of 16 April 2013 establishes the general provisions for employees of the public administration and the special provisions for Managers regarding the minimum duties of diligence, loyalty, impartiality and good conduct that public employees are required to observe.

In each administration, the Head of Corruption Prevention also performs the functions of Head of Transparency.
