Schools that promote health: the Frosinone ASL programme continues

The training for teachers of the third and fifth grades of primary school has been completed, for the Lifestyles – Colleagues program (photos attached) which saw Dr. Giorgia Pietrobono and Dr. Rosa Vitale as reference operators.

It is an experimental program for the Lazio Region but has also been widely used in other areas of the country. It is an operational proposal based on participatory teaching methodologies, integrated and focused on life skills, based on the training of teachers who, in turn, will be engaged in the re-proposal in the classroom of the model learned actively in the field.

The training course based on the Unplugged program has also ended (reference operators: Dr. Maria Cristina Cuppini, Dr. Giorgia Pietrobono, Dr. Rosa Vitale) and the one related to the Muovinsieme/Active Pause project is about to be outlined (reference operators: Dr. Gianna Spaziani, Dr. Barbara Panella, Dr. Lucia D’Onofri).

A meeting is currently underway in Rome for the operators of each of the Lazio ASL for the guidelines of the peer program (reference operators: Dr. Debora Catallo, Dr. Rosa Vitale) intended for secondary school students:

“We of the ASL of Frosinone – explains the company contact person for the Schools that Promote Health Program Dr. Lucio Maciocia – are bringing to regional attention the experience of an intense and strongly participated season of”Il Filo di Arianna”, Peer’s training program that, in recent years, has seen the active involvement of 12 Higher Institutes of the Province, about 500 trained students and as many Teachers”.

What has been done so far has brought the satisfaction of the teachers of the schools involved in the project, all trained to promote health in the classroom in favor of their students.
