Elements of prevention of violence against health workers

The UOC Pre.S.A.L. of Frosinone, as part of the prevention actions provided for in the PP8 Prevention Plan, specifically the prevention actions aimed at organizational well-being and the protection of the physical and mental health of workers, organizes an awareness-raising event on the occasion of the National Day of Education and Prevention against Violence against Health and Socio-Health Workers, provided for by Law 113/2020 and by the inter-ministerial decree that established its annual recurrence on March 12.

Initial institutional interventions are planned by the General Director of the ASL Company of Frosinone Arch. Angelo Aliquo’, the Director of the Prevention Department Dr. Giancarlo Pizzutelli, the Director of the Department of Mental Health Dr. Filippo Morabito and the President of the Order of Nursing Professions of Frosinone Dr. Gennaro Scialò, the President of the TSRM-PSTRP Order of Frosinone Dr. Raffaele Riccio.
Following are reports with an approach to the issue both from the point of view of the legislation on the prevention and management of acts of violence, in line with the indications of the Lazio Region, by the occupational doctor Dr. Patrizia Tanzilli, and on the possibilities of intercepting and defusing any violent behaviour and on the possibilities of managing psychological suffering as a result of events of aggression by the psychiatrist Dr. Carla Romano.
