INNOVATIVE TECHNIQUES – ASL FROSINONE – Mini-invasive hip prosthesis

More than 600,000 hip replacements are performed worldwide every year. These interventions are constantly increasing, due to the increase in the average lifespan.

For about 15 months, Sora’s Orthopaedic Operating Unit has been the only one in our company to perform hip replacements with the innovative mini-invasive technique in both classic and bikini shapes to offer users all the advantages of this operating technique.

It is a new technique made with a small skin incision that, through an intermuscular and internervous plane, allows the prosthetic replacement of the hip, resulting in a fast recovery for daily life and work.

In the mini-invasive hip prosthesis, the positioning of the prosthesis takes place without damaging tendons, muscles and nerves: this determines a remarkable stability of the implant associated with a virtually absent painful symptomatology.
