The works for the construction of the new REMS (Residence for Execution in Safety Measure) that will be located in Viale Fabrateria Vetus in Ceccano have been sent.
The Heritage offices, with the engineering team of the ASL of Frosinone, worked hard on the procedures and completed, in a few months, the entire bureaucratic process, delivering the area last November to the winning company of the contract that started the construction operations.
An operation that has a double value: on the one hand, it will deliver a modern health facility to the community, on the other, it will redevelop an area where an eco-monster from the 1960s stood, already demolished in the first section of the tender notice.
The timetable foresees the completion of the works in August 2022 and the activation of the structure by November 2022.
“The new REMS– explains the head Dr. Giovanni Maria D’Avossa – provides for 40 beds and in light of the new spaces available, the increase in rehabilitation and resocialization activities capable of optimizing the recovery path of the people housed in what will be a modern structure with the latest equipment and resources”.
An expansion of already active services such as 24-hour assistance, diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic plans (pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, ergotherapy), social counseling, nursing assistance and psychosocial rehabilitation through pet therapy, laboratories and time management for patients sent by the Judicial Authority to carry out therapeutic programs for mental disorders as a measure of safety.
